The Westford Regency Health Club recently announced that raise $7,877 in donations during its participation in the American Cancer Society’s “Pedal to End Cancer” event earlier this spring.

DSC_0001For Regency Health Club director Sue Coombs, this year marked her second time helping participants raise money for the event, joining the club shortly before last year’s event.

Despite the impressive fundraising figure, Coombs believes fundraisers using the club’s new spinning studio will be able to do even better next year.

“I’m sure we can rise to the occasion,” she said.

Throughout New England, just under 1,000 participants raised $280,016.96 in total.

More information is available on the American Cancer Society’s website for the event.
