Arciero Announces Beaver Brook Bridge Funding, Attends Business Relocation

State Representative Jim Arciero (D-Westford) also announced that he and State Senator Eileen Donoghue (D-Lowell) were successful in obtained $725,000 to replace a bridge in Westford.

The Beaver Brook Bridge, located between Route 225 in Westford and 119 in Littleton, was part of a $1.9 billion omnibus transportation bond bill  signed into law earlier this year.

According to Town of Westford’s Engineering Department, the current bridge had been indentified as suffering from a structural deficiency.

in the Transportation Bond Bill given the fiscal constraints of the Commonwealth,” said Arciero. “This project needed to be done sooner rather than later according to Town Engineer Paul Starratt, and Senator Donoghue and I were happy to work with him to get this designation.”
