Elizabeth “Betty” Holmes, formerly of Westford, died at the age of 84 on June 29 in Chelmsford.
Born in Westford, she was the past president of the Bedford Social Club, and the Queen Mother of the Crimson Cat Red Hats Club.
A funeral was held last week at Healy Sons Funeral Home on North Main Street in Graniteville. 
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Genevieve M. Stander Scholarship Fund, Payable to “CSF of Bedford” PO Box 585, Bedford, MA 01730.
