Galvin Calls Again For More Oversight in Beacon Hill Event

On the heels of a recent transparency pledge at the steps of the State House, presumptive GOP Second Middlesex State Representative nominee Dennis Galvin has returned to Beacon Hill to advocate for a new transparency measure.

Galvin, a Westford resident, joined state representatives Shaunna O’Connell (R-Taunton), Jim Lyons (R-Andover), Marc Lombardo (R-Billerica) and Jeff Diehl (R-Plymouth) to call for better oversight of state spending as well as a repeal of the gas tax indexing provision, a call he also made recently in Lowell.

Specifically, Galvin referenced recent revelations regarding the federal trial of former Massachusetts Probation commissioner John O’Brien.
