Last month, Keller Williams – Merrimack Valley left its long time location at Westford Plaza. However, that doesn’t mean it left Westford.

The company set up shop in its new offices on the third floor of 3 Lan Dr., leaving Westford Plaza after four years.

If the move can be summed up into one word, it’s space: when the company moved into Westford Plaza it had 32 full-time agents. Now they’re up to approximately 60.

Kathleen Goneau, Keller Williams’ team leader, says that the move was not for customers but for the agents, who felt cramped before.

In any case, she believes that her agents’ talent she is paramount when it comes to bringing in those customers.

“Westford Plaza had more of a retail feel to it, this has more of a corporate feel and lets us bring all of the services we need in one place,” says Goneau. “This particular location serves my agents as well as the clients. There’s plenty of parking, it’s accessible, it’s a comfortable space to work in.”

While the needs of the agents were the top priority for the move, needed upgrades relating to technology, aesthetics and community outreach were also part of the company’s decision to set up shop on Lan Drive.

In particular, a new training facility on site, which can be rented by local businesses and scheduled at no cost by non-profit groups, has already garnered interest from the company’s employees as well as outsiders.

She believes those things as well as more comfortable environs will make up the increased visibility that was at the old location.

“Consumers will come to Keller Williams because our agents’ commitment to them and how they work, That’s more than just a sign on Littleton Road. Without that, anywhere we are is just a building,” she says. “This location is attracting real estate professionals in a great environment with great technology. It’s a very inviting environment, so they’re happy. Everybody wants to work in a happy place.”

The space serves as a hub for Keller Williams in 12 towns around Westford, with new agents specializing in areas such as commercial properties already coming on board.

More information on the company is available on their website.
