Westford Car Insurance Costs Fifth Lowest in Massachusetts
The Westford Patch reported recently on a study from a website called Value Penguin citing Westford as having the fifth lowest rates for car insurance in Massachusetts.
According to Value Penguin, Westford’s average annual rate is $1,036 per year, 23 percent below the state average.

Westford Cal Ripken Team Falls to Bermuda
The Westford Cal Ripken All-Stars fell 11-4 recently to a team from Bermuda in Marlboro.

Summer Book Sale at the J.V. Fletcher Library
The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library Inc. will be holding a children’s, tweens & teens book sale (pictured) on Friday, July 25 from 6:30 – 9 p.m., Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, July 27 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the meeting room of the J.V. Fletcher Library at 50 Main Street
in Westford.
On Sunday all materials will be offered at half price.
