Watch Out For Bats With Rabies
Earlier this week, the Westford Board of Health shared a memo from the Massachusetts Department of Health about bats with rabies.
Younger bats often come indoors during the summer to cool down, and some may have rabies.
If you are around a bat and are scratched or bitten, make sure to not to release the bat until the animal can be captured, euthanized and tested.
