State Representative James Arciero has announced his endorsement by the State Police Association of Massachusetts for re-election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
In a letter of endorsement to Representative Arciero, STAM President Dana Pullman said the endorsement was “based on a review of your experience and your commitment to public safety, our membership wholeheartedly believes the Commonwealth, generally, and the residents of the 2nd Middlesex District, specifically, will be best served by your election. Through your work in the legislature and in your local community, you have shown yourself to be a tireless advocate, willing to listen to all sides and act accordingly. Most importantly, you have shown yourself a true friend to public safety personnel — whether in your words, deeds, or actions. We have no doubt that you will continue to bring that same commitment to this office.”
The State Police Association of Massachusetts represents over 2,000 men and women who are regular full time employees in the titles of State Police Trooper, State Police Trooper First Class and State Police Sergeant, excluding all other personnel employed by the Department of State Police (Bargaining Unit 5A).
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the State Police Association of Massachusetts in my campaign for State Representative. I have worked very closely with members of the Massachusetts State Police on many issues, and specifically on my efforts to get Level 2 Sex Offenders information posted on-line in order to make neighborhoods safer across Massachusetts. I thank President Dana Pullman and the members of the State Police Association of Massachusetts for their endorsement and support in my election campaign,” said State Representative James Arciero, who is the Democratic candidate for State Representative in the 2nd Middlesex district consisting of the towns of Chelmsford, Littleton and Westford.
