#1. Westford Academy Dual County League (DCL) Cheer Competition – Student Volunteers Needed – Westford Academy will be hosting the DCL Cheer Competition on Thursday, November 6th 2014.  Doors open at 6:30pm. #2. At the Parish Center for the Arts on October 29th at 7 p.m. – In cooperation with historical societies in Groton and Littleton, the Westford Historical Society is sponsoring a presentation on “historic apples” on October 29 at the First Parish Church of Westford. John Bunker, a specialist on apples in New England, will provide insight into apple farms and farmers in this area.  This event is free.

#3. Is Breastfeeding a Good Idea?… Find out during a seminar sponsored by Westford Circle Health and the Westford Health Department. To register, call 978-692-5509 by Oct. 30.
The event takes place on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. inside of town hall.

#5. Boy Scout Troop 159… is holding a Winter Sporting Goods Sale at the First Parish Church United on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
