#5. Family Adventures in Reading for Preteen at the J.V. Fletcher Library on Nov. 22 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Â A FREE reading and art making adventure for preteens (ages 10-13) and parents/caregivers. Participants will talk about characters, plots, and ideas in books, create illustrational art, and explore public library riches using one pair of young adult novels as a touchstone and source of inspiration. Â Healthy snacks provided. Â Families who attend regularly will receive a canvas book bag and a free book. Grant-funded by MassHumanities. Register in the Youth Services department.
