Hank Phillippi Ryan to Speak at Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library Annual Meeting

The Friends of the J. V. Fletcher Library Inc. will be holding its annual meeting on Thursday, November 20 at 7 p.m. in the ground floor meeting room of the J. V. Fletcher Library, 50 Main Street, Westford. Featured speaker is Hank Phillippi Ryan, one of the nation’s top investigative reporters and Mary Higgins Clark Award-Winning author.

Hank Phillippi Ryan is the on-air investigative reporter for Boston’s NBC affiliate. She’s won 32 EMMYs, 12 Edward R. Murrow awards and dozens of other honors for her ground-breaking journalism. A bestselling author of seven mystery novels, Ryan has won multiple prestigious awards for her crime fiction: three Agathas, the Anthony, Daphne, Macavity, and for The Other Woman, the coveted Mary Higgins Clark Award. Her 2013 novel, The Wrong Girl, has the extraordinary honor of winning the Agatha Award for Best Contemporary Novel and the Daphane Award for Mainstream MysterySuspense, and is a seven-week Boston Globe bestseller. Hank’s talk begins at 7:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., Friends members will enjoy refreshments and have the opportunity to vote on next year’s officers and directors. Up for election are John Newman, President; Maureen Robinson, Vice President; Sally Harris, Treasurer; Heather FitzPatrick, Assistant Treasurer and Kerstin Porter, Secretary.

 

The Friends of the J. V. Fletcher Library Inc. help the library serve the community. The Friends support the library through advocacy, volunteer service and fundraising in order to enhance resources, facilities and service.
