State Troopers Stop Alleged Drug Dealer Driving Through Westford

A Lawrence man faces heroin possession charges after he was stopped in Westford on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 10:40 a.m., Massachusetts State Police stopped 27-year-old Tommy Espinal after a short chase on I-495 Northbound.

Upon further investigation, Espinal’s vehicle was found to have unspecified quantities of heroin and other drugs inside the vehicle as well as $2,700 in cash.

Espinal was placed under arrest for alleged Possession With Intent To Distribute Class-A Narcotics, Possession With Intent To Distribute Cocaine, Operating After License Revocation, Marked Lanes Violations, and Driving Without An Inspection Sticker.

He was booked at the State Police Barracks in Concord and held pending bail ($540.00) and  will be arraigned in Ayer District Court on Thursday.
