The Westford Board of Health will be holding a Tick and Mosquito Prevention and Awareness Day event on Sept. 12 from 9 to 11 a.m.
The event will take place at the Jack Walsh Field and includes information on how to remove ticks, signs of mosquito and tick-borne illness and much more.
Participants will also get a chance to check out newly installed “Tick Tubes” that will help the risk of tick exposure at the fields.
