Attend this informal gathering to learn about the motions we will be voting on at Special Town Meeting. The League of Women Voters of Westford will host this meeting on Wednesday, September 30 at 7 pm in the JV Fletcher Library Mary Atwood Room.
If you want to become more educated on issues such as sidewalks in town, funding for work at 12 North Main Street, changes in land use, and balancing the town’s budget, take advantage of this opportunity to cover all articles on the warrant and ask questions as we go.
All registered voters are encouraged to attend Special Town Meeting on Monday, October 19 at 7:30 pm in the Abbot School Gym. A quorum of 200 registered voters is required to hold the meeting, so bring a neighbor!
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan issues-oriented organization of women and men who encourage informed and active participation in government.
The League does not support or oppose any candidate or political party.
