Strong Effort By Westford Winners, Fun Times For Orange Tigers And Grey Dragons

The Westford U-6 Gray Dragons played a fun and exciting games against the Orange Tigers on Fields 3 and 4. On Field 3, Jacob Wu and Abhiram Vuppuluri scored often and showed off their quickness!  Alana Powell, Rachel Newman, and Abby Arria created scoring chances and playing defense.  On the defensive end, Abby Arria did a great job to rush back and play goal!  On Field 4, Kasey Bostrom and Teagan McElligott showed off their speed as well as their goal scoring abilities.  Cullen McElligott was not only a great scorer, but covered the defensive side of the field as well.  Austin Kane and Benjamin Desrochers each added some goals as well as playing great defense!  Great team efforts from both the Gray Dragons and Orange Tigers!

Westford Winners 0, Wilmington 2 (courtesy Leah Grenier)

The Westford Winners came out strong in their season opener against Wilmington. Alexa Pantoja and Erin Mammola used their speed to skillfully move the ball up and down the field to assist in several great scoring attempts. Ava Janko and Maddy York were excellent goalkeepers and made many amazing saves. All in all, a fantastic effort was made by all.
