The following information came from the Westford Police Department.

Aug. 13, 1:42 p.m. – There were reports of a larceny from an unspecified medical office on Littleton Road.

An official at the office discovered that several supplies had been taken the previous day, which was a very busy day.

She believes that a new employee may have taken the items and was now at a work meeting in Concord.

Along with the official and human resource personnel, a Westford Police officer went to Concord to ask the new employee about the items.

She said she took the items, which included q-tips, band aids and dressings, thinking it was not a big deal, as she was using them to treat her infected toe.

The new employee was told she would be placed on administrative leave, but no charges would be filed.

Then the official indicated that an employee from the Marlborough office stole medication from her pocket book on that day, which the Marlborough employee denied. No proof was provided.

The official also accused other employees of stealing her cell phone and $40 from her pocket book, but said she believed those employees would likely be terminated.

She did not file charges on any of the people she accused of stealing her items.

Aug. 14, 9:53 a.m. – Several days earlier, a suspicious middle-aged woman driving a mid-sized car stopped in front of a person’s house.

The person was upstairs and heard the woman talking to her neighbor as the person’s dog went outside through an open screen door.

At that point, the suspicious woman said this was her dog that she had lost recently and left. The person came downstairs, but the neighbor told them the suspicious woman did not leave with the dog.

However, the person believes the woman wanted to take the dog as bait for dog fighting. No license plate number was obtained.

Aug. 25, 1:36 a.m. – An anonymous individual called police after observing a loud group playing basketball at Westford Academy. The loud group apologized to police for the noise and left the area.
