For months, the property once home to Eric’s and Drew Gardens has become a point of concern to Westford residents. On Tuesday the property will be discussed once again, although this time there may be a coming end to those concerns.

Last week, the Town of Westford received a letter from representatives of Thomas Goddard, the property’s owner. The letter included news of a potential buyer for the property, a Ebrahim Masalehdan of Groton.

The sale is contingent upon an inspection by Masalehdan as well as a right of first refusal that the Town of Westford can use to purchase the property within 120 days of the offer under a current Agricultural Preservation Restriction on the property.

In the Fall of 2014, Town Meeting voters voted against the town purchasing the property outright.

Masalehdan was not available for comment on Monday afternoon. Goddard’s spokesperson, attorney Joseph DiBlasi, requested to defer any comment on the property until the first week of November due to pending discussions on a purchase and sale agreement between the two parties.
