The Baker-Polito Adminstration announced on Friday that the Westford Council on Aging is one of 60 Councils on Aging across the state participating in its “RMV Near Me” program.
The new program aims to provide additional locations where senior citizens can receive assistance with routine Registry of Motor Vehicle transactions.
“The RMV Near Me Program is another great example of our commitment to identifying new, creative ways to improve customer service at the Registry of Motor Vehicles”, said Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. “We are pleased to be partnering with Councils on Aging across the Commonwealth to provide opportunities for our seniors to receive assistance with processing online Registry transactions.”
In particular, the program hopes to aid senior citizens with online RMV-related activities.
Motorists of all ages can also do various RMV related tasks on the registry’s website, www.MassRMV.com.
