01886 Report: Westford Honored For Crosstown Connect

The Westford Kiwanis is seeking help from the community to organize this year’s Apple Blossom Festival with a new working group designed to plan the festival’s events and more.

This group meets on March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Cameron Senior Center. Refreshments will be served.

The Crisafulli PTO is sponsoring the “Scholastic Feelin’ Groovy Book Fair”

The event takes place from March 2 to March 8 for students and will be open for parents on March 9 and March 10.

Due to recent storm damage incurred on one of the Blanchard School’s boilers, there will be on school at the Blanchard School on Friday, Feb. 26.

At the beginning of Tuesday’s Board of Selectmen meeting, Burlington Town Manager John Petrin (pictured) presented the Community Partnership Award to Westford on behalf of the International City/County Management Association.

The award was given for Westford’s efforts in developing CrossTown Connect, a local transportation collaborative between Westford, Littleton, Boxborough, Stow, Maynard, Acton and Concord.
