Attend this informal gathering to learn about the motions we will be voting on at Annual Town Meeting.
The League of Women Voters of Westford will host this meeting on Tuesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in the J.V. Fletcher Library Mary Atwood Room.
If you want to become more educated on issues such as pedestrian and traffic improvements in town center, sidewalk prioritization plan, a new home for the recreation department, a proposed world flag, a proposed bylaw to prohibit the use of polystyrene food containers, and more, take advantage of this opportunity to learn about all the articles on the warrant.
Questions are welcomed and encouraged as we go through each warrant article. All registered voters are then encouraged to attend Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Abbot School Gym.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan issues-oriented organization of women and men who encourage informed and active participation in government.
The League does not support or oppose any candidate or political party.
