Steve Miller Band To Perform For LGH’s 125th Anniversary

To commemorate the 125th anniversary of its founding in 1891, Lowell General Hospital will host a landmark celebration event featuring a concert by The Steve Miller Band on Friday, May 6, at 8 p.m. at Tsongas Arena in Lowell.

Formed in 1966 in San Francisco, The Steve Miller Band has officially been entertaining audiences for 50 years. Known best for rock classics like “The Joker,” “Rock’n Me” and “Fly Like an Eagle,” The Steve Miller Band’s place in rock history was cemented in April with its induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
