State Trooper Blake A. Bearden of Westford was honored on Wednesday May 25, 2016 in a ceremony held at the State House for his actions as a member of the Massachusetts State Police.   Recognized with several of his fellow officers at the annual Massachusetts State Police Award Ceremony, Trooper Bearden was recognized for efforts in saving the life of an individual who was threatening suicide.   Through his quick response, intervention and negotiation skills, he was able to save the person from taking their own life, and for his efforts was awarded the Massachusetts State Police Medal of Lifesaving.    State Representative James Arciero attended the ceremony and presented Trooper Bearden with a Citation from the Massachusetts House of Representatives to recognize his service to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
