State Representative James Arciero recently welcomed Drew Thompson and his mother, Danielle Angiolillo Thompson of Westford, for the 3rd Annual Down Syndrome Advocacy Day at the State House sponsored by the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress.    This annual event is held to educate legislators about the issues facing individuals with Down Syndrome and their families in Massachusetts. Several important pending initiatives deal with equal access to higher education and organ donation.  The MDSC will host its signature walk, the 20th Annual Buddy Walk & Family Festival, on Sunday, October 9, 2016, during National Down Syndrome Awareness Month, at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield.
