District Attorney’s Office Provides Additional Details From Morning Drug Bust

The Office of Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced this afternoon that the five individuals arrested in connection to an alleged drug lab in Westford have been arraigned at Ayer District Court.

Following investigation by law enforcement officials, it was discovered that the five individuals allegedly produced nearly pure terahydrocannbinol or THC, within a substance called Butane Honey Oil or BHO.

Drugs were discovered in plain sight inside a home on Mountain View Lane. The home also was filled with butane, leading authorities to believe the BHO was produced on site through a process where butane is pumped into marijuana buds to create the nearly pure THC concoction.

Authorities alleged that Bradley Heath II, a resident of the home, sold the BHO under the brand name “Gold Street Extracts” and potentially put the lives of neighbors at risk through the BHO manufacturing process.

“I would like to thank members of law enforcement who worked collaboratively with the Westford Police Department to control what could have been a very dangerous situation today. The State Police and the members of the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force were a tremendous help and resource throughout the course of this investigation,” said Westford Police Chief Thomas McEnaney.

Bradley Heath II was charged with manufacturing a Class C substance, distribution of a Class C substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, possession of a Class B substance, conspiracy to violate the drug laws and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Judge Michael Brooks set bail at $30,000 cash on this case, and detained him without bail on a probation violation for a previous case.

Bradley Heath Sr., Diana Heath, Linley Heath, Lyndsey Holston and Prachi Joglekar were charged with manufacturing a Class C substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Bail was set at $1,000 for Holston and $500 for the other three.

Bradley Heath Sr. and Diana Heath are husband and wife and parents to Bradley Heath II and Linley Heath. Lyndsey Holston is the girlfriend of Bradley Heath II and Prachi Joglekar is a friend of Linley Heath.

These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The prosecutor assigned to this arraignment is David Kete.
