New Roudenbush Class Addresses the Benefits of Adding Weights to a Workout and Other Summer Classes

NEW CLASS! A Little Weight, A Lot of Benefits (for Adults and Teens) – Think you are too busy to add weight training to your workout?  Adding a small amount of weight training can provide some big benefits. This program is ideal for moms, daughters, or any woman who wants to increase her energy level and maintain a healthy body weight.  For teens, this is a great workout during the summer, before fall sports begin.  Weight training will enhance athletic performance, and will help to decrease the risk of sports injuries.  June 20 to July 25 (5 Mondays and 5 Thursdays) 7:45-8:40 a.m. $102/$99

 

Tree, Rock, Bridge – Summer Yoga for Kids ages 5 to 7 – Yoga poses will be taught through a variety of active games, reading, crafts, ecology and music.  Make nature mandalas, painted rocks, tie dye shirts and water color painting using hands and feet.  Yoga mats provided; material fee of $10.  June 27 thru July30 (Monday-Thursday) 9:00 a.m. to noon.  $131/$129

 

Beginner Dog Obedience  Levels 1&II – Join Lisa Bert of Fingers and Paws Dog Training and start your dog on the path to better manners.  Level 1: June 16 to July 21 (6 Thursdays) 6:30 p.m.  Level 2: June 16 to June 21 (6 Thursdays) 7:40 p.m. $138/$135

 

Open/Advanced Fencing – This class is for fencers who have taken several intermediate courses or are advanced fencers.  Lessons will not be given, but we will spend our time fencing one another.

It’s All About Summer Art Workshop (Grades K-6)

Enjoy the process of making summer art; explore materials and techniques, focusing on summer subjects. The instructor will survey the class in advance for ideas on what makes summer great, and will try to incorporate some of those ideas!

Legos Robotics Summer Program 2016 (Grades 3-5)

This specially designed summer program will introduce your child ages 8 to 10 to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  Developed by Tufts University Center for Engineering and Educational Outreach.
