Blues N’ Brews Happening This Weekend at Nashoba Valley Ski Area

The Festival is presented by the Westford MA Rotary Club and will be held rain or shine.  All proceeds from the festival will be assigned to the Westford Rotary Club Charitable Endowment LLC and distributed to various charities, many local and regional organizations, and to fund student scholarships.

It’s almost here! This year’s Blues n’ Brews Festival will be held on Sat. Aug 20 from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sun. Aug 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – rain or shine, at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area, 79 Powers Road in Westford, MA. Gates open at 10:30 am. Lawn chairs are welcome. Please leave backpacks and coolers at home.

Saturday tickets are $40 at the gate and Sunday tickets are $35 at the gate. Weekend ticket and VIP ticket passes are available. Youth age 13 and under are admitted free with a paid adult admission. Save $5 a ticket by purchasing advanced tickets online by Friday, August 19th at 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, August 20th the Blues n’ Blues Festival welcomes Joe Louis Walker as the headliner, Laurence Jones, Biscuit Miller & the Mix, Diane Blue and Steve Morgan & the Kingfish on Saturday. On Sunday, August 21st the Blues n’ Brews Festival welcomes Carolyn Wonderland as the headliner, Gary Hoey, Christine Campbell Band and Jimmy Bez Blues Band. The emcee for both days will be Carter Alan from WZLX radio in Boston, daytime DJ and host of Sunday Morning Blues.

There will be a wide assortment of craft beer tastings, wine tasting, BBQ vendors, as well as craft, jewelry, and food vendors of all types, along with amusement rides and a Bouncy House.

Over 40 craft beer and wine labels will be pouring 100+ varieties of beer and wine both days including Sam Adams, Harpoon, Two Roads, Bershire Brewing, Switchback, Rising Tide and Harvard Cider – just a few of the many companies expected to be present.

The festival’s premier sponsor is Circle Health Urgent Care. Gold sponsors this year include RedHat, NETSCOUT, Middlesex Savings Bank and Trust and LAER Realty Partners. Silver sponsors include the North Middlesex Bank, Whole Foods, Salem Five and Northern Bank. Media sponsors include MacKinnon Printing and Merrimack Valley Magazine.

Beneficiaries from both charity fundraisers include: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell, Multiple Sclerosis Society of MA, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Roudenbush Community Center and the Westford Historical Center. The Partner Program assists with financial help to the Westford Girl Scouts, Westford Boy Scouts, Merrimack Valley Rotary Club, Concord Rotary Club and Lowell Rotary Club. and many others.
