Residents are encouraged to start holiday shopping early at the annual Harvest Fair, Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford. The building is handicapped-accessible, and admission and parking are free.
Sponsored by Friends of the Cameron, this year’s fair will be overflowing with treasures from vendors, donors and others: handmade crafts, quilted and knitted items, vintage dolls, jewelry, plants, baked goods, raffles, gift baskets, a silent auction, snack bar and refreshments. A new addition is the “home goods” corner, with gently-used small appliances, household linens, games, puzzles, fabrics and more.
Trudy’s Boutique, the Cameron’s thrift shop, will also be open concurrently, where buyers can purchase clothing, decorative furnishings and household decor, all at affordable prices.
All proceeds from the fair support the programs, activities and outreach services of the Cameron Senior Center.
There’s still room for vendors to rent a table for $15.  Donations of raffle baskets or items for the silent auction are also welcomed. For info, call 978-692-5523.
