Election Letter Policy
WestfordCAT welcomes your letters to the editor in support of a candidate or a political matter. Each candidate had the opportunity to provide an introductory notice or letter and those were published at WestfordCATNews.org. The deadline for candidate statements has passed, but here’s a Voters Guide with the candidates’ platform statements.
We ask letter writers to follow these guidelines:
- Your letter should be no longer than 400 words. Longer submissions will be returned to the letter writer for editing.
- You may not submit more than one letter in support of any one candidate.
- WestfordCAT reserves the right to deny a submission, if, based on our judgment, the tone of the letter lacks civility or respectfulness, provides inaccurate information, or misrepresents the facts.
- The deadline for submitting a letter related to the May 2, 2017 election is Wednesday, April 26. Any letter submitted by the deadline, will be posted sometime on or before April 29. If a rebuttal letter is necessary, it will run no later than May 1.

- Please include the name of your residential street (for publication).
