WESTFORD HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Representatives Visit WestfordCAT Studio

With a gala scheduled for Thursday, June 8, at the Abbot Estate, representatives of the Westford Historical Society visited the WestfordCAT studio this week for an on camera interview.

Westford Museum Director Penny Lacroix was joined by Historical Society Board member Leslie Howard to tell residents the benefits of attending the black tie (optional) affair at the historic house. With them was Joanne Sargent who owns and lives in the house with her husband Michael.

Tune in to WestfordCAT Comcast Channel 8 or Verizon Channel 35 to hear the story of how Joanne and Michael purchased their home some 30 years ago. The show will also be available on westfordcat.org.

The fundraiser begins at 7 p.m. at 32 Main St. Guests will be given tours of the third floor.

Tickets are $90 for members of the Historical Society and $125 for non-members. They can be purchased at museum.westford.org.
