The elaborate sign that once marked the entrance to Princeton Properties at 50 Princeton Way off Littleton Road, was struck by a car on July 23, smashing it to pieces.

According to Westford Police Capt. Victor Neal, 22-year-old Nicole Leslie of Princeton Way, failed to negotiate the turn into the complex and rolled her vehicle into the sign.

She was arrested for a warrant from Concord District Court and summonsed for negligible operation of a vehicle, marked lanes violation, speeding and for possession of an open alcohol container.

Princeton Properties is a 200-unit apartment complex.
