Oct. 22

In local Northeast Soccer League play, the Westford Knights girls under-11 soccer team notched their second win of the season, blanking Merrimack Valley SC 3-0 on October 22. Courtney Witsch and Olivia Cipriano pitched in for the shutout in goal. The offense was powered by goals from Delaney Auger, Evie Weber, and Maya Hayes. Ella Pantoja played a strong game advancing the ball from the midfield. Kiley Carmichael played a solid all-around game on defense.

Oct. 15
In local Northeast Soccer League action, the Westford Knights girls under-11 soccer team battled Newton Academy to a 0-0 score on October 15th. Kiley Carmichael and Olivia Cipriano were outstanding in goal.  Cipriano made a huge save late in the 2nd half while defender Lizzie Tripp hustled to clear away a shot at the goal line to keep the game scoreless.  Jillian Keith played a strong game on defense continually stifling the Newton attack.  Sofie Cotter played an excellent two-way game at center midfield hustling back on defense and pushing forward to jump start the offense.
Sept. 17
The girls under-11 Westford Knights soccer team netted their first ever club win, defeating Strikers United 3-0 on Sunday (9/17) in local Northeast Soccer League (NSL) action.  The Knights are a new area soccer club.  Leading the scoring charge were Clara Anderson (2 goals) and Delaney Auger.  Kaelyn Powell and Courtney Witsch were strong in goal to earn the shutout.  Outstanding efforts on defense were turned in by Sofie Cotter, Jillian Keith, and Lizzie Tripp.
Sept. 10
On Sunday, September 10th, the Knights played their first ever club game and were edged by Nashoba FC 2-1.  The lone goal was scored by Maya Hayes.  Playing well in goal were Courtney Witsch and Olivia Cipriano.
