State Rep. James Arciero and State Sen. Eileen Donoghue recently attended a gathering of the Westford League of Women Voters to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of their chapter.

As part of the event, the Westford legislators presented both Senate and House Resolutions congratulating the organization on their civic engagement and education campaigns through the last half century.  Gathering together at the home of Westford resident Rose O’Donnell, the group consisted of current and past members of the organization, including several of the original founders.   Picture are Chris Kandianis, current President of the WLWV, Senator Eileen Donoghue, original founder Carly Merrill, State Representative James Arciero, and original founding member Jeanne Laushine Thompson and former Westford Town Moderator and Selectwoman Ellen Harde.
