State Rep. James Arciero recently hosted two Westford Academy graduating seniors, Andrew Friel and Andrew Dickey, as part of the Senior Capstone Experience program at his State House office.
The Westford Senior Capstone Experience is a highly successful program in which graduating senior intern in a variety of different positions in business and government in order to gain professional experiences before heading off to college.
The goal of the program is to give these students, who have completed most of their academic requirements, an opportunity to research a potential future career or college major, study a topic she cares about, connect to potential summer work, learn to use his learned skills in a new setting and volunteer time with an organization which she believes in. Approximately 92 percent of graduating seniors participate in the six-week program.
