Jade Ashford of Westford has been selected as a May Athlete of the Month at Nashoba Valley Technical High School
Ashford, daughter of John and the late Cherie Ashford, graduated on June 2 from the Hospitality Management program. She played first base for the softball team. She was a consistent honor-roll student at Nashoba Tech and was a freshman mentor, helping incoming students acclimate themselves to Nashoba Tech. She was also a member of the team that won first-place awards for Best Dessert and Best Presentation at the annual Taste of Nashoba Valley Contest this past March.
Ashford also was a member of the Vikings’ cheerleading team. She received the Merit Achievement Award at Senior Awards Night for Hospitality Management. She plans to attend Mount Wachusett Community College to study Nursing.
