The annual Ride for Liv/Run for Liv will take place on July 15. This event honors the memory of Olivia Marchand, who lost her life tragically in an act of domestic violence at age 17.
The Ride for Liv/Run for Liv celebrates Olivia’s life and raises awareness of domestic violence in local communities.
Proceeds from 2017 were donated to Alternative House, the Westford Coalition for Nonviolence, The Westford Police Department and the Mahoney Foundation. The funds will help support and protect victims of domestic violence and continue the work of the Live for Liv Foundation.
The event is held at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Westford and includes three routes for bikers — a 50-mile timed ride, a 23-mile route along the back roads of Westford, Chelmsford, Carlisle, Concord and Acton, and a 6-mile route along a portion of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail.
The event also includes a 5K Run/Walk. A family barbeque and family-friendly events are planned for after the ride to celebrate healthy relationships. Register at www.bikereg.com.

2. Sponsors levels: Premium $2,500, Platinum $1,000, Gold $500, and Silver $300.
Sponsors will receive recognition on signage, in media publicity, at the event, and on the Live for Liv website with a logo. Sponsors will be recognized by level of donation on the T-shirts given to all participants at the event.
3. Gift certificates are also welcome and will be raffled at the end of the event on July 15.
