A group of young musicians in the Greater Boston area gathered on June 6 to perform at the Dandelion Concert at Rivers School Conservatory, raising funds to support under-served children who want to pursue music education as much as they do, but can’t afford it.

The concert was hosted by Kindness Matter, Inc., a non-profit organization run by high school students of Noble and Greenough School in Dedham. The purpose is to let music speak for the public good.

This video documentary, produced by WestfordCAT volunteer Dongchun Wang of Westford, captures the music performances of the students, explores the meaning of kindness and showcases how these kids get together through pre and post-concert interviews.

The video is also being used to help raise funds on CrowdRise.com. Half of the donations will be sent to the Dandelion School in Beijing, China, Wang said. The other half goes to Rivers School Conservatory to support those under-privileged students wanting pursue music education.
