Under Governor Charlie Baker, Massachusetts has experienced significant economic growth. This needs to continue, and expand, particularly for many of our poorer communities. I am voting for Kathy Lynch on Election Day because she understands this. She knows that communities like Westford have been sending resources to support areas of the state that have not advanced economically. Such a policy is unsustainable.
As a small business person, Kathy Lynch knows the conditions that are necessary to stimulate businesses and bring about economic growth. Importantly, the cost of doing business in Massachusetts must be reduced. Governor Baker has worked hard to position our state as a business-friendly place. The Massachusetts State Legislature has done just about everything it can to block him. Controlling state spending is critical for creating a favorable business climate. Our legislature has vetoed all of Governor Baker’s wasteful spending cuts, and it refuses to tackle big budget items like the rapidly-expanding Medicaid budget.
We need Kathy Lynch on Beacon Hill to support Governor Baker and his economic plan. This election is very important for the future of Massachusetts. If we want our children to live in a state that offers them abundant opportunities, then it is important that we vote for Charlie Baker for Governor, and Kathy Lynch for State Representative. —Â Carolyn Ricciardi, Westford, MA
