The Veterinary Assisting program at Nashoba valley Technical High School is hosting “DOGtoberfest” on Saturday, Oct. 27, from noon to 3 p.m.

Activities include a pet parade and masquerade, with awards for best costume, best costume pair and best trick for a treat. Kids can bring in their favorite stuffed animal for a checkup at a teddy-bear clinic. There will be food, a bake sale, face-painting, raffles, a “pawdicure” booth and a special appearance by the Headless Horseman.

The event benefits the Veterinary Assisting program, which partners with Angell Memorial Medical Center at the Angell at Nashoba Clinic. For more information, email [email protected].
