WA & Stony Brook Students Take a Field Trip to WCAT

Students from Westford Academy and Stony Brook Middle School collaborated on a science project which brought them to WestfordCAT to record public service announcements that answer the question: “What can Westford Do?” The messages explain what we all can do to protect the environment.

Their completed projects will soon be aired on WCAT channels (Verizon 33, 34 and 35 and Comcast 8, 9 and 99) and published to the WestfordCAT YouTube channel.

The two-day project brought more than 50 students to the station where they worked in teams with the staff to record their PSA projects.  Other activities included experiencing the virtual reality equipment, watching 360 degree videos and a cookout. Here are a few photos from their field trip to WestfordCAT:
