Local Restaurant Holds Celebration of Lunar New Year

State Rep. James Arciero recently attended the celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year at Bamboo Fine Asian Cuisine in Westford.

The festival featured Chinese cuisine and authentic lion dance performances to mark the special occasion.

This event follows a similar celebration which was recently held at Westford Academy sponsored by the Westford Academy Asian Culture Club which featured an authentic New Year dinner sponsored by Bamboo Fine Asian Cuisine, Lion Dancing, Dragon Dancing, acrobatics by the Chines Folk Art Workshop Boston, as well as, performances by the Mandarin Program students. This year marks the Year of the Pig.  It is said that the Pig is the 12th of all the zodiac animals.
