Former rock radio personality, Patty Stocker, invited award winning singer/songwriter Olivia Frances into the studio earlier this month to perform an acoustic guitar set of her ethereal pop/folk melodies. Frances is a Cincinnati native currently in her senior year at Clark University. “I came to Worcester all because of this book called ’40 Colleges That Change Lives’. Clark is featured in that book”, said Frances. “I knew I wanted to go to a small Liberal Arts College and Clark seemed like a good fit.”

Frances has been recognized over a dozen times as a “Ones to Watch” songwriter by Nashville Songwriter Association International and plans to move to the Music City, where she spent a gap year before college, but not until after she earns her degree in Global Environmental Studies. She is minoring in music.

Frances started her musical journey at age 6 where she studied classical piano, but soon realized she was more interested in the pop music genre. She began playing guitar and by age 12 had wrote her first song.

Frances can be found on Soundcloud, Reverbnation, and Spotify. She is releasing her third album in May of this year.
