Nine of the 13 Westford candidates running for office addressed a crowded room of voters on April 25. The candidates fielded questions posed by a local moderator, Heather McNeil of the Andover-North Andover League of Women Voters, as well as written questions submitted by Westford voters. The event was sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Westford. The town-wide election takes place on May 7.
Candidates who didn’t attend were: Muriel Drake, five-year term for Housing Authority; Janine McCormack, four-year term for Housing Authority; Elizabeth Diercks, three-year term for Library Trustee; Alisha Hillam, two year term for Library Trustee.
