Students in the Health Assisting program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford recently held the fifth annual “Senior Prom” for residents of Bridges by EPOCH, an assisted-living facility for those who have Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other forms of memory loss. The prom is a way for the students, who assist the staff at Bridges regularly, to get to know the residents better — and a way for those residents to hearken back to their younger days. Staff members at Bridges say the “Senior Prom” is one of the residents’ favorite days.
