Labor Day Hours: In observance of Labor Day the Library will be closed on Sat., August 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Mon., Sept. 2 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Library will re-open on Tues., Sept. 3 at 10 a.m.
 Monday Mystery Book Club: Monday, Aug. 26 at 10:30 a.m. The club meets on the fourth Monday morning of the month @ 10:30 a.m. in the Mary Atwood Room. The August selection is White Heat by M.J. Knitting Group: Monday, Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. The informal knitting group meets in the Mary Atwood Room on the second Monday of every month from 3 to 5 p.m. AND the fourth Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is a drop-in program that is open to all ages. Adult Nonfiction Book Club: Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. The book club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Mary Atwood Room. Bay Circuit Trail: Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. This 200 mile Bay Circuit trail through natural open spaces extends all the way from Newburyport north of Boston to Duxbury south of Boston, and passes through Westford. Dan and Marilyn Brielmann will present music and pictures while describing the many sights along the trail, as well as its history, accomplishments and current conditions. Ages 14 and up. The wildly popular Story Time and Book Club online registration for children opens Monday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
KonMari Tidying Workshop: Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Need to declutter? Attendees will learn the basic principles of the KonMari Method. Certified KonMari consultant Cristin Condon will discuss the method’s myths and misconceptions, how to set oneself up for success before beginning, how to maintain success, and the effects of KonMari on life.
