The following are suggestions for things to do in the coming week.

The See a New Sun Foundation holds its annual walk on Saturday, Sept. 7. Meet at the Fay Park Gazebo, 20 Foster Street, Littleton. On site registration begins at 8 a.m. with a minimum pledge amount of $20 The walk kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Register online by visiting 4sans.org. The See A New Sun Foundation aims to prevent suicide through education and early intervention.

The Lego Club is meeting at the J.V. Fletcher Library on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 2 to 3 p.m. All creations will be displayed in the library until the next time the club meets. The club is for ages 5 and older with a parent or caregiver. This drop in event is free of charge.

The Lowell Summer Music Series wraps up on Sept 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.with the 39th Annual Banjo and Fiddle Contest at Boarding House Park. Admission is free for contestants and listeners. Jon Gersh of WUMB Folk Radio will be the emcee for the contest. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating at the concert.
