Three-year-old Brownie, is an affectionate long haired cat available now for adoption at the Lowell Humane Society. Described by the shelter’s Marketing and Fundraising Manager, Crystal Arnott, as an “avid hunter,” Brownie “loves to adventure outside.” Because she prefers the outdoors over the litter box for her “bathroom needs,” the shelter is looking for an indoor/outdoor placement for Brownie or for someone who is looking to rid their barn or tack room of rodents. Brownie “is very experienced outdoors”, explains Arnott. “We would never recommend a cat being an outdoor cat or having access to the outdoors if they didn’t have experience already.”

Although Brownie is “very curious, very active” and “independent, she is also very affectionate, said Arnott. “She loves people. She loves to sit next to you. She loves to be pet.”

The Lowell Humane Society is open Tuesdays through Sundays for adoptions.
