Almost 100 teachers stood on the Boston Road side of the Common, Nov. 26, holding signs advocating for a School budget that will support specialists and programs they consider so crucial to student learning.

“We want people to pay attention because last year positions we thought were very important were cut,” said Mike Colson, president of the Westford Education Association. “We believe positions are going to be cut this year.”

Town Manager Jodi Ross will present her recommended budget for the School Department on Dec. 17.
