First Snowfall of Season Dumps About 8 Inches on Westford

Mother Nature dropped about 8 inches of snow on Westford last night (Dec. 1 and 2) and into this morning. It was the first snowfall of the season, and is likely to be followed tomorrow by another storm.

Most schools were closed throughout the region.

Temperatures ranged today from 35 to 29 degrees, according to weather.com. The chance of precipitation was 90 percent  and the wind is blowing at 18 miles per hour. Temperatures tomorrow are expected to range from 35 to 24 degrees. There is an 80 percent chance of precipitation and snow is expected in the morning.
