People’s Drum Circle and Lazy Sundays Open Mic

The Hearing Room in Lowell will welcome all ages and skill levels for a drum circle on Dec. 29 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. All modes of creative expression are welcome. The fee is $5. For more information, residents can contact Mark Abare at 508-304-4783.

5th Annual 9-Hole Mini Golf

The 5th annual 9-hole mini golf course will be held at the J.V. Fletcher Library on Monday Dec. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course will take golfers around the library. This free drop-in program is funded by the KDK Memorial Foundation (in honor of Kurt Kelly). The whole family can join during the holiday break. Preschool New Year’s Eve Party

For New Years Eve, the J.V. Fletcher Library will be hosting a Preschool New Year’s Eve party for children 5 and under accompanied by caregivers. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residents can drop in for kid friendly crafts, singing, dancing, and a celebratory countdown to noon with noisemakers and confetti.
