People’s Drum Circle and Lazy Sundays Open Mic
The Hearing Room in Lowell will welcome all ages and skill levels for a drum circle on Dec. 29 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. All modes of creative expression are welcome. The fee is $5. For more information, residents can contact Mark Abare at 508-304-4783.
5th Annual 9-Hole Mini Golf
The 5th annual 9-hole mini golf course will be held at the J.V. Fletcher Library on Monday Dec. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course will take golfers around the library. This free drop-in program is funded by the KDK Memorial Foundation (in honor of Kurt Kelly). The whole family can join during the holiday break. For more information, residents can call 978-692-5555.
Preschool New Year’s Eve Party
For New Years Eve, the J.V. Fletcher Library will be hosting a Preschool New Year’s Eve party for children 5 and under accompanied by caregivers. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residents can drop in for kid friendly crafts, singing, dancing, and a celebratory countdown to noon with noisemakers and confetti.
