Baby is a 9-year-old, domestic shorthair cat, that has been at the Lowell Humane Society since July. He was brought into the shelter because his previous owner could not afford the surgery required to clear a urinary blockage. Baby is healthy now but does need a special diet to keep him from future urinary problems, so a veterinary reference will be a requirement for potential adopters.
The shelter’s Marketing and Fundraising Manager, Crystal Arnott describes Baby as playful and affectionate. “He really loves his people,” Arnott said. “He loves to curl up and be pet whether he is sitting on your lap or curled up next to you on the couch. He loves to roll over and make little biscuits in the air.”
Baby’s favorite toys are jiggly balls and catnip mice. The shelter is looking for a home for Baby that has no other pets. He is available now for adoption at the lowellhumanesociety.org.
